Art Statement:

"Art is a definition of self, and in this definition we seek to recreate perfect beauty"

To me art is what the creater finds beautiful, its not art to me unless I am proud to show it. In my work I create what I want and what I see, it might not be perfect or the best but when I see it I see myself, my soul, my pride. This is my gift, appreciate it or not.

Art History:

Currently a graphic designer for the highland mint(1+yrs), 3 years of art in highschool, 1 semester of Painting and Photography at Bcc, won 1st twice and 2nd once in our school chalk festival, won purchase award at brevard art show, won 1st in 2d art at brevard art show, Done few commisons: murals, portraits, fantasy, animals, landscapes, ect.

Medium:

Recently I have been working in pencil the most, as well as Photoshop and Illustrator. Other than that I paint in Acrylic, Gouche and Watercolor. I have not had a chance to try Oils yet.

~BIOGRAPHY~

My name is Chelsey Scott and I am 19 years old. Right now I am a full time student at BCC for my general AA and art. I am also a full time employee at The Highland Mint as a graphic designer. I am also in charge of quality control, as well as updating the website(when time allows for it). I have a short amount of free time, but painting and drawing is my passion and I have been doing it for as long as I can remember. I enjoy drawing fantasy and people the most, especialy women. I am hoping to get my name out there a little, so thankyou very much for taking the time to look at my work.
